These easy steps jump start your connection. 

 

Individuals:

  1.  Register. Registering allows you to see current opportunities. In just a few minutes, you’ll let us know how to get in touch with you, what your interests are, and when you’re available.
  2. Update your interests and schedule when can! If there isn't anything available right now, you can check back in and update your profile. Plus, you’re on our radar after you register—so we’ll be in touch as opportunities open up that align with your availability and interests!
  3. Subscribe to our Volunteer Newsletter! This monthly email newsletter lets you know about open opportunities, and connects you to all of the great work your fellow volunteers are doing.
  4. Sign up to receive our Goodman email newsletter. These bimonthly editions are packed with news about what’s happening at the Center, and that news almost always involves the bright, brilliant faces of our children and youth. Who wouldn’t want that kind of sunshine in their inbox?
  5. Follow GCC on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. There’s so much happening here every single day; you’ll get more info about what we’re up to and how you can support Goodman!

 

Groups, Teams & Organizations:

  1. Email us. Let us know what you're looking for--your group size, availability, past volunteer experience as a group, why you want to volunteer with Goodman, and any special interests. Team opportunities are limited, so sharing as much info as you can helps us understand quickly if we might have a match for you! 
  2. Host a pantry drive! Group opportunities are limited, but one of the most impactful ways you can support the life-giving mission of Goodman is by collecting pantry and personal essentials that our neighbors need. This is a flexible and simple way to work together as a team to support your community!
