Elementary Programs

The GCC Elementary Afterschool and Summer camp programs enhance how well kids ages 5 - 12 do in school, boost their nutrition, help them get or stay fit, and give them skills and opportunities to make friends and have fun.

As a Community Learning Center (CLC), Goodman's after school program provides young people with opportunities for academic support, including homework help, and hands-on enrichments with a focus on literacy, math, and science encouragement. The program welcomes kids attending Lowell and Emerson elementary schools. 

During our 10-week long summer camp, kids have the opportunity to participate in hands-on learning throughout the camp day designed to build proficiency in reading, math and science while having FUN both at GCC and offsite! 

And throughout year volunteers are welcomed into the classrooms and camp spaces to enhance the opportunities and build supporting relationships with youth.
