Help register people to get a Thanksgiving basket. Our goal is to sign up at least 4,000 households in 2024! We have set up a special Thanksgiving basket phone line - come help us answer people's calls.
How it works:
- Answer our registration line and assist people in signing up for Thanksgiving baskets.
- During the call enter registration information into our online form. Help people pick their preferences for pick up times.
- End the call with an explanation of the process going forward based on our online script.
What you bring:
- Computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Good phone skills and customer services
- Volunteers who are bilingual in Spanish and Hmong are especially encouraged to join us
Sign up Details:
- Please ensure you are available for the entire shift. Shifts can’t be split or shortened.
- Volunteers must be 18 or over.
- Be sure to read and authorize volunteer waiver.
Parking/Biking:
- On-street parking is available around the center. No space will be available in the Goodman lot due to other programming including Thanksgiving Basket prep and pick up.
