Volunteers help with swimming lessons for our summer campers at the YMCA pool
June 24 - August 21; Wednesdays 9:15 am - 12:00 pm
Two positions available -
At the Goodman Center help kids get ready for lessons and return from lessons (putting on or taking off bathing suits for the 3 - 5 year olds and support coming and going to the van and transitioning back to camp)
At the YMCA greet kids and their teachers and help kids transition into the pool. Volunteers are welcome to join the kids and teachers in the pool and support the lessons taught by the YMCA instructors. Meet the group at the YMCA on 711 Cottage Grove Rd.
We understand that it’s the summer for our volunteers, too—but we ask that volunteers are available for the majority of the 9-week summer session.
All volunteers participate in orientation before their first shift.
