Youth & Adults Together Shift Information
These slots are for adults to accompany youth ages 7 - 17. Every person, both young people and accompanying adult should be signed up for a team slot. For example, if an adult wants to bring two young people they will need to sign up for a team, with 3 slots.
Youth signed up in these spots attending with a chaperon who is not their parent or guardian should request a parent release form after signing up. Youth attending with their parent or guardian can be approved on their parent's release.
These slots are not for adults who do not have children with them.
Help with basket distribution! Volunteers will be packing ingredient bags, checking in recipients, delivering baskets to cars and helping sort new donations.
What you bring:
- Willingness to work inside and outside during same shift. You will be walking and standing the full shift.
- Ability to lift, carry and navigate from gym to the parking lot using shopping carts
- Ability to take direction and work with others
Sign up Details:
- Please ensure you are available for the entire shift. Shifts can’t be split or shortened.
- At least one volunteer signing up with youth must be at least 18 years old.
- Use the Respond as a Team when signing up for a family or group of adults & youth.
Parking/Biking:
- On-street parking is available around the center. No space will be available in the Goodman lot due to other programming including Thanksgiving Basket prep and pick up.
