Every year, Goodman Center supports study tables for the East High School athletes to keep them on track academically so that they are able to continue to participate in their extracurricular sport activities. Volunteers meet students in the study hall staffed with East High School athletic department staff. During the shift volunteers are paired up one on one or in small groups with students to work on assignments and test preparation.
When:
Mondays; 2:45 - 3:45 pm
Tuesdays & Wednesday; 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm
Where: East High School, 2222 E Washington Ave
If you're interested in helping an athlete achieve their academic goals or build their study skills, this is the opportunity for you! We are looking for support in all academics, if you have strong Math, Science, or Spanish skills, that is especially helpful!
