Greet shoppers at Hy-Vee East and encourage donations by providing Thanksgiving Basket shopping lists. Shoppers can purchase turkeys and other items in the store and drop them off with you! Hy-Vee will deliver all the donations to the Goodman Center after the food drive. This is a great opportunity to help spread the word about the Thanksgiving Basket program and ensure we have enough for 4,000 families!
What You Bring:
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
- Volunteers must be outgoing and feel comfortable speaking with shoppers and asking for donations.
Sign Up Details
- Youth volunteers of any age are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
- Teams are also welcome and can exceed the slot limits - just note how many people you'd like to bring.
- Please read and approve volunteer waiver upon sign up
Transportation:
- Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to Hy-Vee East at 3801 East Washington Ave
